MARCH 2005
Here we are in the middle of the winter thinking about spring riding activities on the trail and in the show ring. At the open annual meeting at the awards banquet on Jan.30 we will be finalizing our calendar for the year. It will be published in next months Equine Journal and posted on our website, so do check it out and mark your calendars.
We hope that you know about our first event of the year which is the Spring Fever Clinic. This promises to be a fantastic way to give you and your horse a great start to the season. This is a one day clinic on Saturday April 9 from 9am - 5pm to be held at the Blue Moon Ranch in Douglas, Mass. The clinicians are Susan and Kat Olbrych who are John Lyons Select Certified Trainers. This clinic is open to all, but limited to 12 riders so sign up early. Auditors are also welcome. For more information contact Nancy Russell @ 508-476-9974 or at neariver@charter.net or check our website www.massarab.org where you can also download an entry form.
This is the time for all you AHAM members to renew for 2005, and a great time for new members to join us. Membership is open to all riders with any breed of horse. Benefits include being part of an organization which promotes all aspects of the horse and horsemanship, discounts on all our rides and events and a year's subscription to the Equine Journal. Membership forms are in this magazine or check our website www.massarab.org.
Please contact me at castlekeepers_plus@hotmail.com if you have any suggestions or news that you would like me to include in this column.
