MAY 2005

Our Spring Fever clinic was well attended with 10 "trainers" and their horses and 8 auditors. We all felt that it was a wonderful way to start the season and we learned a lot from Kat and Susan Olbrych, professional John
Lyons horse trainers from Fire Ridge Farm. Many thanks to Susan and Kat; to Nancy and Steve Russell for organizing the clinic and to Dave and Tracey Abady for renting us their lovely indoor facility at Blue Moon Ranch in Douglas. The Russells with the help of Dorothy Pavlik  hosted a "dinner with the trainers" the night before the clinic so that everyone could get to talk to Susan and Kat about any issues they wanted to work on. Our horses
would like to thank Sandy Wedge for the basket of carrots and apples that she brought to share!

The weekend of June 4 and 5 will be a busy one at Camp Marshall in Spencer with a pleasure ride on Saturday and the spring Fun Show on Sunday. We hope to see lots of riders at both events and volunteers to help will be most welcome. Please contact Sally Hill at shill@massarab.org or 508-476-3895 for more information on the pleasure ride, and Sandy Crowe at 508-473-2545 regarding the Fun Show.
